At the beginning of September, my wife and I were admiring the view of Dundee and the Fife landscape in the the distance from The Law,that imposing hill which dominates the city,when into view a small group of overwintering geese flew into our field of vision. Their haunting calls to each other made us think of the quickly approaching winter and the cold days ahead of us! The darkening skies with the strong autumnal sunshine and the ghostly geese flying past contrasting with the muted tones and colours of the buildings below made for an interesting vista.
