Early one morning I was visiting a friend who lives on the top floor of a tenement building on the Perth Road, Dundee. As I climbed the stairs I was struck by the view of the rail bridge from the “landing windae”. The morning sun was illuminating the “high girders” and bathing the structure in a brilliant white light. I hope this colourful little painting captures that intriguing morning.
