As the date for the inauguration of the V&A approached, I inspected the new building hoping to find the right angle for my first ever V&A painting. It wasn’t easy as access to the future museum was restricted ahead of the museum’s opening. After some reflection, and now that time has passed, I believe this view was the right one; connecting the magnificent structure to the River Tay with the rail bridge in the distance.
