Whilst gazing out of my sisters-in-law’s front room window near the rail bridge in Wormit, I reminisced about the famous whale, picturing the Dundee seafarers rushing behind the majestic mammal. I thought that a painting of the bridge including a diving whale under the “high girders” would add a little interest to the scene. The deep blue hue of the irises in the window compliment the ultramarine tints of the River Tay.
