I had thought of doing a painting of this iconic cartoon character for some time but it wasn’t until the start of lockdown that I felt I had the time to do him justice! After walking around the statues several times on an eerily quiet Saturday morning I hit on what I thought was the best angle- a frontal view. Dan looks so imposing with his puffed oot chest as he strides jauntily through the City Centre!
