I was enjoying a tea time beer in the “Speedwell bar” (Mennies as it is known locally) with my wife when she pointed out the view from the decorative window. It was a scene which I must have seen many times but which hadn’t yet registered in my mind’s eye! Luckily my wife had her smartphone with her and captured an image of the rail bridge through the gorgeous Art Nouvea window.
In the studio I enhanced the image with a pint of beer, it certainly embraces the unusual view of the bridge with colour and a sense of scale.
